My name is Dr. Patricia Hart, and I am a Professor Emerita with 45 years of experience in education. I have taught children’s literature courses in higher education for many years and have an early childhood Montessori certification. My passion throughout my personal and professional life has been books and children. Using observations and videos of my three young grandchildren – and other children – I continue to gain more insights into effective strategies to use in reading quality literature to young children, while utilizing the library resources.
